Engagement Sessions

Looking for just an Engagement Session? Some of our favorite shoots have had couples playing basketball, drinking coffee, shooting pool, wine tasting, walking their dogs, and throwing glitter in the air, but we can personalize it to you and what you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

*My fiance and I don't like the look of stiff, posed photos? What can we expect from you? I don't like that posed look anymore than you. My goal is for your family and friends to look back on your wedding photos years after and say that they are 'so you.' To achieve that, I will put you in the right light and then encourage you to stand as you normally would (hands in pockets, hands on hips, feet together, feet apart, etc) with you looking both at each other and at me to start. Then I will tell a few terrible jokes and we will see where to go from there. If you need extra encouragement, I can step in to help.

*What can we expect in terms of an investment?  We offer an assortment of packages to fit your needs including Wedding Day Coverage, an Engagement Session, a custom Wedding Album, Bridal and Boudoir Sessions, Thank You's and Save the Date's, Prints on Wood, and Printed Product Credit. Our clients tend to spend between $3,500 and $4,500 on their Wedding Photography package. Collections start at $2,995.

*Do we get the Digital Images from our Wedding Day?  Yes, you will receive a flash drive with your Wedding Day images, as well as the Personal Printing Rights to those images. The flash drive will include your Wedding Day images in two forms: jpegs for print (not watermarked - higher resolution for making prints) and jpegs for web (watermarked for social media sharing), and also a guide to help you maintain your images for years to come.

*How many final images will I receive? If you book one of our Collections, you will receive a minimum of 500 images. For our hourly events, you will receive 50 finished images per hour coverage.

*When will I receive my images? You will see one preview image posted to either social media or my blog the day after your wedding. The rest of the images will be made available 6-8 weeks after your wedding day.

*What kind of equipment do you use?  We use professional Nikon equipment.

*Are you insured?  Yes, we carry a liability policy as well as an additional policy to cover our equipment. Sometimes reception venues will ask for proof of insurance from us or ask to be named as additional insured on our policy. This is a common request but it does take time, so be sure to ask your venue if you will be needing this from us, and let us know no later than 30 days before the wedding.

*Will you be at our wedding?  Yes, I shoot every wedding booked by Misty Enright Photography.

*Do you shoot anything besides Weddings?  While the focus of MEP is on Weddings and Engagement Sessions, and Boudoir, we also offer a limited number of Maternity and Newborn Sessions, Senior Portraits, Headshots, and Family Portrait Sessions each year. *We love everything we have seen and are ready to book. How can we secure our date with you?  Yay! I'm so excited! To secure your date, I will need to gather a bit more information from you about your wedding day and we can do that over the phone, on SKYPE, or in-person over coffee. You can use the CONTACT ME tab (above) to get the process started. After receiving the signed contract and the Retainer, your wedding date is booked with MEP! Final payments are due 30 days before the wedding day.
